About Peach
Peach Friedman, a spokesperson for the National Eating Disorders Association, is the author of, Diary of an Exercise Addict. She is a nationally recognized educator and intuitive fitness specialist, focusing on health and wellness for women. Her approach to the moving body prioritizes awareness and pleasure, and guides women toward a balanced relationship with fitness that is void of guilt, fear, and punishment. Her book recounts her own descent into and inspiring recovery from anorexia and compulsive exercise, and has received international acclaim. In addition, Peach lectures regularly at universities and conferences, and teaches movement and body awareness groups for Summit Eating Disorders Program in Sacramento, California. She has been featured twice in People magazine, as well as on The View, 20/20, and Oprah's Radio Network. Her book was recently reviewed in Fit Yoga magazine, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the London Times.Certifications
